The upcoming Electronic Arts’ (EA) Madden NFL 19 Championship is now set to be sponsored by Bose, New Era Cap, and Snickers as part of a new sponsorship deal.

Bose is set to become the official sound partner of the championship series, with competitors set to wear the QC35 II Noise Cancellation Headphones when competing.

Kyle Graham, Bose Global Brand Partnerships commented on the new partnership: “Similar to how Bose provides its noise cancellation technology to NFL coaches on the sidelines for improved game communication, we are bringing our expertise to esports with our QuietComfort 35 II headphones to help with player focus and competition.”

Snickers, meanwhile, is strengthening its existing NFL involvement by introducing its “‘Most Satisfying’ plays that will all add towards the ‘Madden NFL Championship Series “Moment of the Year.”

Jess Donato, Senior Associate Brand Manager at Snickers, added: “For SNICKERS®, this is a natural and authentic extension of our NFL sponsorship as Madden competitive gaming broadcasts are nearly identical to the traditional sports experience.”

The Madden NFL 19 Championship Series will see over 200 players from across 32 NFL teams compete for $700,000, which is set to be the largest individual tournament prize-pool in Madden NFL’s 30-year history.

American head wear company, New ERA, will become the official cap of the Championship series as all their new Home and Away collection will be on full display to those watching.

Austin LaBoda, Digital Media Specialist at New Era Cap said: “This competitive gaming initiative draws a hyper-engaged group of fans and provides us with a new way to showcase our authenticity as the Official Sideline Cap of the NFL.”

It will be named the ‘Super Bowl LIII-timed’ event which kicks off January 30th – February 2nd in Las Vegas. As well as this, we will see all three NFL brands integrate broadcasts into Madden NFL 19 with the aim to increase the exposure with the actual playerbase.

The tournament is set to make its return to prime-time television after the fatal shooting that took place at a championship qualifier in Jacksonville, Florida in August last year.

It is the first instalment of the new edition of the competition to feature on a televised broadcast following the EA Sports’ Madden NFL 18 Challenge, which topped the list as the most viewed North American esports broadcast in 2017.
