BoyleSports backs Irish football with Shamrock Rovers partnership

Airtricity Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers F.C. has announced a new partnership with Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, BoyleSports.

It means the firm will take over as the club’s official betting partner, with a presence on the new kit of the Hoops, for the duration of the League of Ireland campaign which kicked-off last month.

BoyleSports boast four betting shops in the Tallaght area. Welcoming the deal on Monday, Head of Communications Leon Blanche said: “We are looking forward to a competitive League of Ireland season with several good title contenders and we’re very excited to be teaming up with Shamrock Rovers F.C at a time when they are firmly back in the mix.”

Rovers currently sit 4th in the Premier Division table after picking up a point against  Dundalk FC on Friday which sees the side positioned as 10/3 second favourites at present in the Outright market. It comes as Rovers have started the campaign in strong fashion, with two wins, a draw and a loss.

Brendan Murray, Shamrock Rovers CEO, added: “Shamrock Rovers F.C. is delighted to welcome BoyleSports as our Betting Partner for the 2019 season. Our partnership with the renowned Boyle Sports brand is a great fit or Shamrock Rovers and we look forward to developing the relationship through innovative content and engagement with our fanbase.”

Shamrock dropped out of the Europa League, suffering a 2-1 aggregate defeat at the hands of Stockholm based side, AIK. However, after a strong start to this season’s domestic campaign, the side will be looking to go further in European competition, next season.
