XFL team the Los Angeles Wildcats has partnered with sports gaming platform Monkey Knife Fight (MKF)

As part of the agreement, MKF’s brand will be prominent on all Wildcat games, which started in the club’s first home game against Dallas Renegades on Sunday. The gaming platform will also benefit from in-stadium promotions at Dignity Health Sports Park, whilst also includes weekly XFL fantasy games and team player helmet sponsorships during select games.

Bill Asher, founder of Monkey Knife Fight, commented: “The XFL created a league of great teams and we truly feel this partnership is a natural fit. We’re excited to introduce XFL fans to Monkey Knife Fight, particularly in the Los Angeles market.”

The league has also partnered with a variety of fantasy betting companies including the likes of DraftKings and FanDuel.

Heather Brooks Karatz, president of the LA Wildcats, added: “We’re proud to be partnering with the fastest-growing sports gaming platform in North America, Monkey Knife Fight. As the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner of the LA Wildcats, Monkey Knife Fight will boost our fan experience to a completely new level.”

The XFL has been regarded as a success in its initial debut, with the organisation’s first week of games averaging more than 3.1 million viewers across Fox, ABC and ESPN.

MKF is the latest sponsorship to come out of the returning XFL and follows on from the recent sports betting content agreement that saw the league partner with The Action Network.

As a result of the sports betting content agreement, The Action Network has become the preferred source of XFL betting analysis and information, with the network also set to develop content features which includes daily news from across the league, analysis of games and player performances.
