Castleford pens Went Valley partnership despite COVID concerns

Despite financial insecurity with multiple sporting organisations, Betfred Rugby Super League side Castleford Tigers have penned a new one-year commercial partnership with Went Valley Skip Hire

The skip supplier will receive stadium advertising at the club’s Mend-A-Hose Jungle facility, whilst also being integrated on the side’s social media and communication platforms, increasing Went Valley Skip Hire’s branding opportunities.

Castleford Tigers’ Commercial Manager Craig Jeffels said: “I would like to welcome Went Valley Skip Hire to the Tigers partnership family for the 2020 season.

“It is great for us to be working with more and more local businesses to increase their brand awareness across Castleford and surrounding areas. Went Valley has a vast amount of experience in the waste industry and I am sure the partnership will be a roaring success.”

Currently the Betfred Super League campaign has been suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, however, the competition has no plans to cancel the campaign at this current stage and an expected resumption date is set to be announced once more clarity has been given on the situation.

Whilst the season is halted, various club’s will be hit financially thus highlighting the importance of the rugby league side securing another partnership. Additionally, Castleford’s name value will likely drive more customers to the skip firm throughout the 12 month partnership.

Russell Meakin at Went Valley Skip Hire added: “Phil and I here at Went Valley Skip Hire are looking forward to working alongside Castleford Tigers and the large following the club has is a great benefit to our business.

“We are big supporters of Rugby league as a whole and are excited to be involved with one of the best teams in the country.”
