Stats Perform has extended its partnership with CONMEBOL, allowing the firm to collect and distribute data and player statistics from its vast array of competitions for licensed sportsbooks.

As part of the new multi-year agreement, Stats Perform has become the South American Football Confederation’s exclusive official data provider.

Specifically, the deal will allow the Chicago-based firm to collect and distribute official data for CONMEBOL men, women and U20 competitions including CONMEBOL Copa America, CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana and CONMEBOL Recopa.

Alex Rice, Stats Perform Head of Rights Acquisition, commented: “High-quality soccer betting experiences rely on the fastest, most accurate game data and player statistics which are trusted and consistent, across all key channels.”

Stats Perform’s in-stadium ‘ultrafast data and accurate player statistics’ will enable odds providers and sports betting operators to offer more confident live trading and in-play betting experiences, whilst also strengthening customer trust.

As alluded to prior, the agreement extends on an existing partnership between CONMEBOL and Stats Perform, which gave it the official right to distribute matches of CONMEBOL club competitions for streaming to broadcasters, sports media and fantasy games.

The firm’s latest CONMEBOL data rights agreement will form part of Stats Perform’s official betting and media data portfolio, which also includes La Liga, Ligue 1 and MLS, among numerous other competitions.

Stats Perform’s new partnership follows on from CONMEBOL’s keynote at the SBC Digital Summit LatinoAmericana earlier today, which can be viewed on-demand. The governing body is using the virtual conference and exhibition to detail their work on preserving the integrity of football.
