LiveScore, the real-time sports updates service, has appointed MatchFit to lead on proactive communications and sponsorship PR activations for the firm.

As part of the deal MatchFit will also create PR campaigns in support of LiveScore’s sponsorship portfolio, including the company’s role as official global scoring partner of La Liga in Spain.

MatchFit has been involved with in the PR of various sporting events including The FA’s  UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 ‘500 Days to Go’ media campaign along with various lockdown FIFA20 events including COPA90’s #StayHomePlayTogether campaign with EA SPORTS.

Before being officially announced as a partner, LiveScore and MatchFit have already worked on media releases, with the agency collaborating on the news of the firm’s new free-to-air OTT live streaming service. The new service features initial rights to all matches in Italy’s Serie A football season through to the climax of the current 2019/20 campaign.
