OGC Nice has strengthened its sponsorship portfolio with the addition of two new partners in Belstaff and Grenadier, both of which are owned by INEOS, for the upcoming season.

As part of Belstaff’s deal, the British based clothing company will supply the Ligue 1 side with off-the-field clothing next campaign. Moreover, the firm’s logo will be displayed on the sleeve of Nice match outfits whilst having visible branding at the Allianz Riviera, as well as at the clubs training centre and academy.

Jean-Pierre Rivère, President of OGC Nice stated: “Our objective of building a team to compete, in the medium term, with rivals at the European Cup qualifications is a challenge at all times.

“To have a prestigious partner like Belstaff at our side, with our shared drive, ambition to succeed, and passion for adventure, we know we can achieve great things together. Our partnership is a natural fit for the team and we are looking forward to this new journey.”

Belstaff CEO Helen Wright added: “For almost a hundred years Belstaff has outfitted those with an adventurous spirit, those who meet life’s challenges head on, those who willingly push the limits. Our heritage, tenacity and driving ambition are among our great strengths and we see these through OGC Nice, an historic club with exciting ambitions for the future. We are proud to support Patrick Vieira and OGC Nice as they challenge for the top in the seasons to come.”

Moreover, automotive brand Grenadier, which is a newly launched 4×4 range, will be prominent on the back of Nice kits after acquiring sponsorship rights. Similarly to the Belstaff deal, Grenadier will also have a presence around Nice’s stadium and training ground.

Rivère continued: “Grenadier is an exciting and innovative project. A challenge where everything has been done to make it a reality. We share these values of abnegation and ambition and are therefore very proud to be associated with it and to make the adage “together we are stronger” our own”.

Mark Tennant, Commercial Director of INEOS automotive commented: “We are proud to be a partner of OGC Nice. The Grenadier is an all new 4×4 vehicle that shares the values of tenacity, courage and determination with the OGC team. We both have a commitment to success, matched with a strong team spirit and focus on our supporters.”

The INEOS owned brands have both been given separate titles by the club as part of the deals with both firm’s being announced as official partners of Nice.
