Swansea City has expanded its partnerships with Trade Centre Wales and Swansea Building Society, with both brands being featured on the club’s home kit for the 2020/21 season.

As a result of the deal, Trade Centre Wales be the first-team back of shorts home sponsor, whereas Swansea Building Society’s logo will be featured on the back of the side’s home shirts.

Andy Coulthurst, CEO of Trade Centre Wales commented: “We’re delighted to expand our long-standing partnership with the Swans, with the addition of the back of shorts sponsorship to complement our east stand takeover.

“We will continue to work closely with the team at Swansea City in the upcoming 2020-21 season, and wish the club the best of luck in the Championship.”

Swansea City’s Head of Commercial Rebecca Edwards-Symmons added: “We are thrilled that Trade Centre Wales has also taken the position of back of shorts on our home kit for the 20/21 season.

“To have another Swansea-based business feature on our kit is extremely special. We want to thank Trade Centre Wales for their continued support.”

In addition to Trade Centre Wales retaining its status as the official east stand sponsor at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea Building Society will also continue to have the executive lounge on the third floor of the stadium named after the firm.

The news of Swansea’s recent negotiations continues to highlight the clubs willingness to highlight local businesses, with both entities based in Swansea. Moreover, the sponsorship deal follows on from the EFL side’s recent partnership with Swansea University, in which the establishment became the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor.
