Inter Milan has extended its partnership with Volvo Car Italia for the upcoming 2020/21 campaign.

The deal will see Volva continue to supply its cars to the club, continuing on a partnership which first commenced in 2007.

Additionally, for the upcoming season the cars will be specifically tailored to providing environmental sustainability with its XC90 T8 Plug-in Hybrid now becoming available to the club.

Alessandro Antonello, FC Internazionale Milano’s CEO commented: “We’re delighted to announce the extension of the partnership between Inter and Volvo Car Italia. It’s a collaboration that began 13 years ago and which unites two global brands with the same values and same outlook for the future, including when it comes to innovation.

“Volvo Car Italia is part of the Nerazzurri family, and we hope to achieve new important objectives together.”

In terms of other commercial news for the Italian club, Inter Milan has also announced that Inter Campus and DB Schenker’s partnership has been extended. The collaboration between Inter Milan’s social project and the supply chain management and logistics firm sees that the club’s shirts can continue to be handed out to children across the world.

“The industry we’re involved in has been forced to deal with so many constraints due to the pandemic, but, as always, we’ve never given up and have fought to get things going again,” Inter Milan Vice-President Vincenzo Mandelli commented.

“So it’s with great pride that we confirm our desire to continue our collaboration with the Nerazzurri social project, supporting it with the same commitment that we’ve always shown. We love the project, the people involved in it, the smiles on the children’s faces, the passion, the mix of values that is difficult to find in other contexts.”
