Newly promoted EFL Championship side Coventry City has continued to strengthen its commercial portfolio by securing a three-year partnership with iPRO Hydrate.

As part of the deal iPRO will provide the club with its hydration drink products to support both the side’s first team and under 23 players throughout the duration of the deal. Moreover IiPRO Hydrate will be named Coventry City’s official Hydration Partner.

In addition the partnership will place a key focus on sustainability as iPRO looks to ensure all of its product  packaging is fully recyclable within the UK’s current recycling infrastructure. This is particularly important as it highlights the club’s recent focus to continue increasing its environmental sustainability for the foreseeable future.

Tynan Scope, Head of Commercial at Coventry City, stated: “We are very pleased to announce our new partnership with iPRO, who will be supporting our first-team and Under 23’s players for the next three years as our Official Hydration Partner.

“We’re also delighted with the environmentally friendly approach of iPRO too, joining Hummel and also Jingltree as examples of Club Partners who we work with that have taken big steps toward becoming more sustainable and environmentally focused in their areas of expertise.”

The hydration drinks firm joins the clubs growing list of commercial sponsors including the likes of front-of-shirt sponsor BoyleSports, Hummel, Andrew Whiting Wealth Consultancy LLP, and Jingltree.

iPRO Commercial Manager, Lucy Darrall, added: “We are delighted to be chosen to partner with the 2019/20 League One winners and support them as they start their season in the Championship! Hydration is a key part of athlete preparation and recovery and iPRO is able to support athletes in this area without players consuming unnecessary sugar and chemicals.

“We are looking forward to working with the Club to not only support their players in the First Team but also the U23’s and wish both teams the best of luck in the 2020/21 season.”

In the last 12 months iPRO has steadily built its own portfolio of football partners, striking deals with the likes of Norwich City and Bolton before the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
