Leicester City Football Club has announced that W88 will continue as the club’s official betting partner after the Asian company had its deal renewed for the 2020/21 campaign.

Under the terms of the deal, W88 will continue to use the Premier League side’s brand in its marketing activities with the firm also being given the opportunity to create content featuring the club’s football stars.

Harj Hir, Head of Partnerships at Leicester City, stated: “We’re really pleased that W88 are continuing their partnership with us. It’s great to have such an ambitious brand on board and we look forward to creating more unique content with them for our fans in the UK and around the world to enjoy.”

W88 first signed with Leicester City at the start of the 2018/19 campaign with the company boasting a strong presence in Asia, a lucrative market for many football clubs. The entities continued relationship will see Leicester continue to grow its reputation in the continent whilst also providing W88 with a new potential global customer base.

Hilly Ehrlich, Business Development Manager at W88 said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Leicester City Football Club for the 20/21 season which allows us the opportunity to grow our brand globally.

“As well as the excellent awareness the partnership brings to us, delivering content together with the players helps bring our customers closer to the action.”

In addition to the content agreements, W88 will also gain brand exposure during Leicester City match days via the club’s pitch-side LED advertising boards.

Despite the Premier League season well underway teams, such as Leicester City, are still in the process of securing more commercial revenue for the 2020/21 campaign with clubs such as West Brom, Manchester City and Everton recently securing partnerships this week alone.
