ARC names Novibet title sponsor of two Lingfield fixtures

The Arena Racing Company (ARC) has reached an agreement with Novibet, naming the Greek sportsbook the title sponsor of two horse races at Lingfield racecourse.

Under the terms of the agreement, Novibet will sponsor the Park Oaks and Derby Trials at Lingfield, two fixtures popular with horse racing fans as a prelude to the Cazoo Derby Festival at Epsom Downs.

The 2019 fixtures saw Anthony van Dyck and Anapurna win both races and then go on to perform well at the Epsom Derby, solidifying the reputation of both races as a trial run for one of UK racing’s most highly anticipated meetings.

“The Derby and Oaks Trials are the highlight of the flat turf season at Lingfield Park, and we are delighted to welcome Novibet in to support the day,” said David Leyden Dunbar, Director of Partnerships at ARC.

“Novibet is a brand we have been pleased to work with before, but it is great to see them develop their sponsorship portfolio in British racing with this deal.”

The Park Oaks and Derby Trial will take place on 8 May at the Surrey flat racing course, and will be broadcast on both free-to-air ITV Racing and Sky Sports, presenting a significant marketing opportunity for Novibet.

“We are thrilled to sponsor the prestigious Novibet Derby and Oaks Trials at Lingfield, as preparation for two of the biggest races in the calendar,” commented George Gerakanakis, International Affiliate Manager at Novibet.

“It is a privilege to be connected with these two races as it marks our biggest race sponsorship to date, as we look to establish our brand in the UK and grow our connection with British racing.”
