Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Gorillas which sees the ‘on-demand’ grocery delivery service become the team’s premium partner.

The collaboration was revealed in a video of a customer receiving a food order from Gorillas and then a shirt delivered by PSG’s Marco Verratti, and the partnership sees the company plan to strengthen its footprint in Europe.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer at Paris Saint-Germain, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Gorillas to the Paris Saint-Germain family. Both our brands have developed a strong lifestyle footprint with the aim to make positive changes in the lives of our crew and audiences.

“We are looking forward to meeting the Gorillas riders community and innovating together at a fast pace.”

Gorillas brand will be present at the Parc des Princes all year round in a bid to offer ‘engaging content with a roster of world-class sports talent and unique experiences’ to its communities.

Ugur Samut, Chairman of the Board at Gorillas, added: “It is a great honour for our first global sport sponsorship to support one of the most successful football teams in Europe with whom we share many key values such as boldness, authenticity and team spirit.

The partners claim that they have a ‘strong brand synergy’ and a ‘common ambition’ to offer the best experience to their fans and to their communities around the world.

“Gorillas’ brand DNA is at the intersection of sport and lifestyle, making this partnership with a true love brand like Paris Saint-Germain an incredible fit,” Samut added.

This partnership will be kicked off in the Parc des Princes stadium on Saturday 20 November, on the occasion of the game between FC Nantes and PSG.
