As part of its ‘strategic focus on fan engagement,’ Stats Perform has moved to enhance its visual content creation capabilities by integrating PressBox Graphics into the wider PressBox platform.

By leveraging the PressBox Graphics solution, the sports data and AI technology company aims to provide its sports team, league and media clients with the ability to produce graphics in a short period of time, using AI solutions and Opta sports data.

The firm has identified what it sees as a challenge posed to the three aforementioned businesses relating to ‘capturing, engaging and grabbing fans attention’ across sports broadcasting, stadium screens, scoreboards and social media.

Nancy Hensley, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Stats Perform, said: “We are excited to have PressBox Graphics join the PressBox platform, not only is this enabling high speed production of stunning visuals, but it is now easier for our clients to leverage the entire PressBox suite of products, all powered by the world’s best sport’s data and AI. Content is king, and time is money, with PressBox Graphics, we can address both challenges.”

The development represents a further enhancement of the PressBox platform as Stats Perform continues to implement its sports fan engagement strategy, building on the launch of PressBox Live and PressBox Video earlier this year.

The strengthening of PressBox has been conducted with the goal of creating a product offering in-play storytelling, video discovery and visual content creation within a single platform.

Previous efforts to bolster its visual content and fan engagement operations have seen Stats Perform leverage its aforementioned Opta sports data – which the firm utilises as part of partnerships with a range of sports organisations for a variety of purposes – as well as acquiring visual sports content studio 13 Strides in July of this year.
